The cliffs of Parmelan… we can see them from our balcony in Annecy.
“Mooom, can we sleep up there someday?”
“Yes… why not! We could pitch the tent with a view on our house!”
That sounds like a great excuse for a photoshoot! We mention it to our friend and ambassador Thibault Liebenguth, the king of family adventures, who suggests a nice and accessible spot at the foot of the cliffs. “The view from up there is just insane!” Perfect.
Everything seemed to be aligned for this shoot: a small weather window to catch the sunset, friends available for the fondue, Mr. Richard Bord himself in the region and free to shoot that evening, and even videographer Pierre-Emilio Medina, aka “PE,” ready to capture “a few shots.”
The result: a fantastic time with friends, an incredible sunset, a crazy wind, an excellent “Swiss” fondue, marshmallows roasted on the stove (since the wood was too wet 😅), very happy kids, and beautiful images to remember this moment forever 🤩.
We took SMÖGEN and MINI-SMÖGEN with us to carry the camp. SQUAMISH and WANAKA for the fondue and bottles. POPOYO for the children’s down jackets and doudous. TORQUAY for toothbrushes. MINI-HOIAN for phones and memory cards, and even PIHA for photographers!
