ONBUHIMO : what is it?

An ONBUHIMO is an ancestral carrying system from Japan. Originally, women used to carry their baby when working, squatting in the rice fields. The concept: a simple baby carrier without hip belt, worn really high in the back, so that the baby can see over the shoulder. Nowadays, in addition to its minimalist and practical use, we also appreciate the « no hip belt » concept for pregnant women and the ones with after-birth and hips issues.”

What is the ONSEN onbuhimo concept?

The perfect combination of a simple and ancestral carrying system with technical materials used in outdoor sports. A baby carrier to keep in your bag so you never have to fear the moments of fatigue of your child on hikes, walks, travel, etc.

Tips

Train with someone before first use.

Train with a calm baby… non starving 😉

Wash your baby carrier by hand.
